After researching the unique electrical properties of Nickel-Chromium wire (which is able to conduct electricity into heat thanks to its high conductivity and low melting point), I was inspired to use the wire and recycled materials to create a rechargeable lighter. I constructed the lighter's circuitry on a thin rectangular piece of wood fitted with pre-fabbed circuitry and a lithium ion battery recovered from a cheap old drone. This circuitry slides into the structure of the lighter, an empty plastic dental toothpick container. The entire device is encased in aluminum metal sheeting from a Coke can. Just one charge lasts for 100+ uses.
